Matt is an Oregon Native, dedicated husband, and father of two grown children. He graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR with a B.S. in Chemistry. Matt has worked in multiple industries including Laboratory QA/QC for West Farm Foods in Portland OR., Certified Outdoor recreation coaching at both Mt. Bachelor and Hoodoo ski schools, Commercial Landscaping and Food Industry Management, etc.

Having lived in central Oregon for over twenty years, Matt's most extensive prior career was with Arnold Irrigation District (Bend, OR), serving for 14 years, both as Water Technician and Field Supervisor. Matt is a great guy, a solid member of our community -- and water savvy. Matt works closely with the District's GM and Office Manager to bridge the gap between the field and office, shovel and pen --  the proverbial policy and practice. Matt sweats the details, organizes the field troops, manages the day-to-day water world, and generally just gets stuff done as a "jack-of-all".  Most importantly, Matt is an extremely good listener and genuinely cares about the people he works with and serves. He wants to help -- and is exteremly fair.  We are grateful to have Matt as our Ops Manager!
