Field Tech/Hydro Tech Breck Flanagan-Caldwell

A Bend native, Breck serves as a Field/Hydro Technician for Swalley. Breck is primarily responsible for shepherding water through the north end of our District, communicating with patrons, reporting policy violations, invasive weed species mitigation, and monitoring daily hydropower operations. But it doesn't stop there. Breck has many other responsibilities and duties that he carries out faithfully, and with a smile. Breck holds a Bachelor's of Science in Natural Resources, Forest Ecosystems and Society from OSU where he specialized in conservation and technology as applied to watershed management. Breck holds several other qualifications such as ArcGIS, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Pesticide/Herbicide Management, and Hazard Communication First Responder Awareness certifications.

As an aside, Breck loves to climb, mountain bike, and spend time in nature with his family and friends.
